Skiing holidays at the Arlberg: Simply breath-taking!

Skiing pleasure for adrenaline junkies and epicureans

In addition to a breath-taking nature setting, your winter sports paradise at the Arlberg offers one pro above all: Highest ski competence and pure adventure! Pleasure and speed skiers, from beginner to professional, will find best conditions for limitless ski pleasure across approximately 305 perfectly groomed piste kilometres of the Ski Arlberg skiing resort. 88 ski lifts make the snow-rich slopes comfortably and easily accessible right from the hotel.

Those who seek even more action can board a helicopter and be dropped in the middle of an untouched world of powder snow along with their skiing gear. When spending your skiing vacation at the Arlberg, you will experience absolute peace and tranquillity between the summits of the Arlberg region in one of Austria’s few ski regions that offer heli-skiing in the first place. From the 2,652m Mehlsack or the 2,450m Schneetäli you will exclusively enjoy a one-hour descent down to the romantic Zugertal near Lech.

Take-off

Heli-skiing from Mehlsack and Schneetäli

The Mehlsack summit is a special challenge for experienced and trained skiers in deep and corn snow conditions. The tour direction “Älpele“ is the most popular descent option. Down in the valley, you can reach Zug via a well-groomed hiking trail after approx. 20 minutes. The sunny “Spullersee“ option is particularly recommended in late spring.

From the landing area below the “Orgelscharte“, the descent leads skiers into the Schneetäli and ends behind Zug. This route is particularly suited as firn descent in spring and even manageable for skiers with medium skill level.
