„The Arlberg“ one of the largest and most famous ski resorts in western Austria connects the villages of Lech, Zürs, Stuben, St. Christoph and St. Anton.
The Arlberg is legendary, the name stands for quality, inovation and the „passion in white.“ The ski pioneer Hannes Schneider from Stuben invented the Arlberg Technique, revolutionizing Alpine Skiing with its technique - first at the Arlberg and then in the rest of the world.
The Arlberg has always been a pioneer, such as with the first ski lift in Austria in Zürs (1937 Constam-license-in Zürs by Doppelmayer) or the first in Österrecih designed cable car for winter operation the Galzigbahn in St. Anton (1937).
In one of the most snow-reliable and diverse ski areas in the world (1300-2800 meters) you can expect 79 modern cable cars and lifts. Many chair lifts with seat heaters, 23 ski magic carpets (conveyor belt) in the Kinderland and beginner areas, 280 km of ski runs of all difficulty levels, 180 km of deep snow runs, over 1,000 highly trained ski instructor in several ski schools. Furthermore, the Arlberg offers fun parks, permanent racing and speed check, of course a contactless lift access to the reusable Ski Arlberg Card and numerous homely and exceptional venues.
Did you know that there is on average 7 meter of snowfall at the Arlberg and that nearly 70% of the slopes are covered in artificial snow!
