The first Arlberghaus was opened up 76 years ago: Franz Eggler, Thomas' grandfather, constructed a commercial building with a modern flat roof.

Two further construction phases in 1964 and in 1971 turned the hotel into the capacious building it is today.

With the two last large reconstructions in the summers of 2005 and 2006, numerous issues were taken care of: the entire building is now newly isolated, the roof has been renewed and the second staircase as well as the elevator were extended to the fourth floor.

With these reconstructions, the Arlberghaus presents itself in a totally new outfit just in time for its 75th birthday.

Already, plans are in creation for an extension of the fifth floor, guaranteeing that we surely won't suffer of boredom over the next couple of years.
